Sheets
IPE manufactures ePTFE sheets to customer specifications from 0.0508mm to 6mm. Our patented ePTFE FluoroFlex™ is the material of choice for a variety of applications including gasketing, medical, chemical and food processing. FluoroFlex™ is chemically inert to almost all known substances including corrosive liquids, vapors and gases and has excellent electrical and dielectric properties. Its low coefficient of friction makes it ideal for applications requiring slipperiness and durability. ePTFE sheets can be cut into blanks for fabricating into smaller parts.
Rods
IPE manufactures ePTFE FluoroFlex™ rods to customer specifications from 0.2032mm to 9.525mm O.D. and can be spooled or cut to length. Rods are extruded in virgin grade ePTFE and are used for all kinds of medical, chemical, electrical and mechanical components where the outstanding performance characteristics of ePTFE are required. We also offer additional in-house fabrication, machining, and milling services.
Tubes
IPE manufactures ePTFE FluoroFlex™ tubes to customer specifications from 0.7mm to 22mm I.D. FluoroFlex™ tubing is used in fluid and gas handling applications where extreme temperatures, contamination or caustic materials are an issue. Thicker walled tubing can take advantage of the excellent insulating properties of ePTFE. The porosity of FluoroFlex™ can also be varied to conform to the application, such as filtration and aeration requirements. Extruded tube is the best way to insure uniform wall thickness throughout the length of the tube because drilling ePTFE is extremely difficult.
